In large vehicles Steering Units can be used with Flow-amplifiers which amplify the oil flow to the steering cylinders.
Our Flow Amplifiers include a Priority Valve, a Directional Valve, an Amplification Stage, a Pilot Pressure Relief Valve, a Back Pressure Valve, Shock and Suction Valves.
The Priority Valve ensures that the steering takes priority. When the steering wheel is turned, the oil flow is divided in the flow-amplifier in such a way as to ensure that the necessary oil flow is led to the steering system. The rest of the oil flow is available for the working hydraulics.
The Back Pressure Valve increases the capacity of the suction valves.
The Shock Valves protect the Flow-amplifier against shock from external forces on the steering cylinders.
The Suction Valves ensure oil suction on the side of the steering cylinder by preventing cavitation.
Specification
Max. Steering Pressure : 210kgf/cm2
Rated Flow : 160 L/min
